project description:
Many of Corean commercial flyers are full of oversized and vivid colour information.
They are usually used for the shop promotion because many shopkeepers believe that they could attract consumers' interest more. However, unfortunately those flyers could be 'Unpleasant commercials' to customers because they contain unnecessary information too much and even make viewer's eyes uncomfortable.
Therefore, I tried to remove those displeased elements and rearrange them.

Many of Corean commercial leaflets are usually full of the red colour though so much that it sometimes interrupts viewers. However, I was curious about what we get only from the red in reverse and tried to take away other colours by giving the saturation zero.

I studied how to show contents more effectively
by using a pie and bar graph as valuable tool.

➁_ Corean Adoption Rate

The histogram illustrates the rank of the countries where Corean children are mainly adopted. I let the text whose linelength is narrow and regular look like each bar of the chart and coloured it based on each numeric figure of the main six countries, which was calculated following the vertical length of the paragraph.
As a result, the text also serves as the histogram as it is.
